Limb poster

Check out new work. Limb - an extension of the body and the music was described as mechanical. Hence, the robot arm.

For inspiration, I looked at drawings of electrical circuits.

Ayako Suwa

Crazy food creations by food artist (apparently, this is a job) Ayako Suwa and kiss-ass photography of the craziness.

Food - one of the most basics of human existence - is most surprising when it is so far removed from this need to simply fulfill hunger and becomes and artform.

Photos found at Essen.

Bastille Day

It's Bastille Day today!! These are the posters that I created for the event tonight at the Argyle. For those who don't know, the coq is the French national symbol (think le coq sportif). Two versions of the poster were created, one in red and one in white to make it Frenchy and were distributed across Sydney.

Biennale of Sydney

I spent my Saturday morning exploring Cockatoo Island for the Biennale of Sydney. I went expecting to be shocked, confronted and delighted – the way I like to experience my art, but actually left feeling a little underwhelmed.  I don't know if it's because the space of Cockatoo island is so sparse and the navigation of artworks feels disconnecting, or whether the artworks themselves were just a bit blah.

The photos attached are the ones I enjoyed most.

Roadside Mattress

So this is a close-up of a torn mattress that had been throw out. It's not often you see the anatomy of a mattress. I'd passed it on my way walking to the station and thought the texture was worth taking a photo of. Here's to roadside furniture.
